An odd memory I've never shared before:

I remember dying of cancer in a "past life"

A Journey Through Memory, Reincarnation & Consciousness

I remember dying of cancer.

And yes, that’s a weird topic to write about.

I just felt the inner nudge this morning to share this story I used to keep to myself when I drove by a poster honoring World Cancer Day. And something within me felt intrigued to share this experience. I have felt intrigued to share this before, but there was hesitation. Because it’s not a regular topic. It’s not something I’d usually talk about, but I feel a deeper mission to say it.

First of all, I want to highlight that this article only reflects my personal experiences. I’m not making any generalizations or hypotheses about disease, death, the afterlife, etc. If you don’t believe in these topics anyway, don’t worry. I’m not here to convince anyone of my experiences. The reason I’m sharing this is because I feel guided to share it and to inspire people who may seek deeper answers or wish to activate their own memory.

So here's my story: I remember dying of cancer.

I felt the exact moment. I felt the woman I was back then. It felt like I was somewhere in Europe, lying in a bed. Something that reminded me of a hospital bed. I observed this woman from above with my consciousness.

The first thing that I observed was her energy. She was angry. Frustrated. Almost vengeful. She wasn’t a hateful person per se, but she seemed to be angry about her disease and her life.

Interestingly, she had a newspaper in her hand, and when I tuned into the newspaper with my consciousness, she was reading about war. Then, I saw her die. Die in the physical world. But then I was transferred to her afterlife. She was dead, but she “woke up” on the other side, so to speak.

I could perceive that she realized she wasn’t dead. The human experience felt more like something that humans experience when they wake up from a dream in the morning and realize they had just dreamt it.

She was greeted by other beings she knew from before. And instantly, there weren’t any emotions she had felt in her body. No anger. It was more like, “Oh, I dreamed it.” That’s when I noticed that the disease only appeared in her consciousness while being in her body, but not outside her body.

I could also perceive that there wasn’t any punishment or reward. When I saw the old version, the woman dying, I perceived that her name was Sventje. She wasn’t rewarded or punished for her disease. She was now navigating with her full consciousness, which couldn’t really be healthy nor sick. It didn’t really have a form. It didn’t judge. It simply observed and experienced.

She was no longer suffering. She was, I’d even say, “happy.” But not happy as we would use or experience that in our human life, for example, because of any circumstance. It felt like a sense of happiness or contentment as a natural form of being that you don’t have to strive for.

I also perceived that she didn’t see herself as a failure nor a success. It was more like realizing she had been living a dream that you can’t win or lose. She simply experienced it in all of its forms, including the disease.

Today, I’ve reincarnated.

I remember how excited I was before I reincarnated. It felt like a little kid being excited to play chess. I understood that I reincarnated to continue the journey. From what I perceived, life isn’t over after one round. It feels like a continuation. And the image I perceived, or what it reminded me of, was like when you get back into a car again and continue the journey. But you realize the software is similar. It’s a bit like when you enter a car and put your software there. You’ve got all your data there, potentially also from your previous car.

And so, in this life, I was faced with my shadows, my energy, my trauma. Which I would personally describe as the equivalent to the “old software.” Now I observed an even more intriguing experience. Both my grandparents died of cancer, just like I had. And I reincarnated into a family not because of punishment, but because of, as I perceive it, energy resonance.

Cancer, in the end, in my very personal perception, was not an event. Not a disease. It was a reflection of a consciousness. That consciousness that takes the form of energy materializes in the body. That’s why, for me, after remembering this experience, I became more aware that healing doesn’t start on a body level. For me, it starts on a consciousness level.

Now, what is consciousness?

It’s the level of awareness you’re in. And personally, it reflects your energy, your daily life, but also all the lives you have spent in total. I know this may sound confusing to some.

Welcome to my world. I explore consciousness. And I’m happy to share more for those who are interested in consciousness. Join me on my journey.

What I’ve learned to open a new form of self-healing:

From my understanding and memory, I’ve come to realize: healing cancer isn’t just healing on a body level or a bit of positive thinking. Yes, that can be a start. But the true healing starts on a consciousness level.

Two years later, after I had remembered that, I didn’t really think much about it. I remembered more past lives. I’m also an intuitive writer, which means I start writing stories intuitively. I one day wrote a story about a young boy. The story ended up being about his life, meaning, death, and reincarnation. Actually, his consciousness reminded me of the woman I saw in the past life. The short story is called "The balloons we forgot." In the month of September, it’s free to read. It’s about a story of a young boy who experiences life, death, reincarnation and the joy he forgot.

Sometimes healing a disease doesn’t start just on a body level. It starts with remembrance. Remembering who you are beyond your human role.

Two years ago, after I remembered the life, it wasn’t just the memory. It was like the last version of me writing about her pain, her learning lessons from reflecting back. It was odd.

But if you wish to read Sventje’s journey on how to shift consciousness, Life Lessons from Cancer was channeled through me and published so you can read what the version in a past life recognized through me. I was weeping and sometimes tearing up, almost as if I was healing parts of myself and releasing old consciousness.

In the book a woman who was diagnosed with cancer talks about her internal world, from the silent fears of her diagnosis to her emotions, learning lessons and everything that we often don’t show or speak about.

If you feel drawn to this ebook, may those lines open something within you.

Journal impulse to reflect:

  • Do you sometimes feel you haven't been here for the first time?
  • Do you feel there’s more to disease than just coincidence? And if there is, what does that mean for you?
