When you feel the call to embark on a new path

My personal story when my life crumbled and how I stepped in my deeper soul purpose

3 years ago I had a deeper awakening.
When I speak of awakening, it’s not necessarily in a spiritual or religious sense; I just felt there was more to life. The life I was leading back then was not bad. I had studied, got a job, travelled, and occasionally went to yoga. I had my moments, but still, it didn’t excite me. I couldn’t stop it. I just knew “now is the time to go.” “It’s time for something new.” No one prepares you for that moment. Because others don’t get you, and at the beginning, you don’t get yourself. But you feel it, you hear it, you sense it—you can’t ignore it. And so, three years ago, I dared to walk a different path.
Deep down, I craved more joy, freedom, and creativity. I craved the freedom to do what I wanted to do. And I studied books, attended courses, and learned from other mentors who once walked this path. I learned a lot. However, looking back, I realize at the beginning I was so mind-focused. I constantly tried to manifest with my mind. But the voice telling me, “there was more” was my own soul, my higher self.
It was the beginning of a deeper initiation. I decided to rely on my intuition as I progressed. I chose to trust my instincts over my thoughts. I chose to follow my passion over security. Yes, others call you crazy; sometimes you think you’ve become crazy. But then you realize, that’s what you’re here for.
We're here to enjoy all of life. This includes experiencing both the highs and lows. The adventures. The little moments in daily life count as much as the big goals. You realize there’s much more to life than a 9-5 and waiting for your holidays to relax.
That’s what I was waking up from. The many illusions we live by. Get a house, a job, and a partner. But then again, there’s something missing.
The missing element is the joy, the spark. The passion. It’s an energy. So when you follow that spark, it can take you to places you didn’t even know existed. You explore talents you didn’t even know you were good at. You explore facets and aspects about yourself you didn’t even know you had. You explore wishes and dreams that seem too wild to come true. But despite the doubt, once you trust and embark on that journey - such a journey has the power to transform your life. That’s what I want to inspire people with. I want to encourage people to pursue their passion. Dare to follow that spark or that little voice if it calls you.
Looking back, I can see that it wasn't always an easy time. I often felt lost and confused about my path.
I eventually realized that life is similar to a bike tour.
First, you have to know how to drive a bike.
You have to know the brakes; you have to understand what to pay attention to. E.g., you have to become aware of the roadblocks and the one-way streets.
But once you know the basics and the tools, no destination is too big.
You can explore the Highlands, and you can go on a short trip or a long trip. You can bike to the mountains or to the lake. Life is the same. You never know where it takes you.
And that became the most important realization and experience of the past three years.
No one can tell you where life takes you, and you don’t even have to know.
BUT… you have to know how to drive a bike.
That’s the prerequisite. If you don’t know how to drive a bike, you may have no clue.
This can lead to feeling stuck in life frequently.
That’s exactly what I help you with.
I’m not telling you where to go. I’m not giving you a strategy or a life plan. Life itself is both the journey and the plan. But I show you the tools and what to pay attention to.
Like a kid that knows how to ride a bike—it becomes unstoppable.
But imagine you don’t know the brakes and the one-way streets, and you try to bike to Italy—you may never arrive or arrive with long delays and detours.
I went through delays and detours myself. And now looking back, I found sometimes delays and detours serve a purpose—they make you realize things. They make you grow. They make you realize things you couldn’t have realized otherwise. So they aren’t a negative thing.
You can basically figure it out alone. It reminds me of a kid who can essentially figure out how to drive a bike without any help, but it's not always the fastest path. Over the years, I found it’s much easier to have someone else, like a sister or a brother, show you how to begin started. As much as the detours and one-way streets are sometimes our greatest teachers, they can also be our greatest blocks.
That’s why I created a masterclass. I summarized step-by-step how to get from where you are to where you wish to be. I don’t tell you where to drive. You need to determine where you wish to go. In other words, you need to feel for yourself what your dreams are or what you wish to experience next in life.
I’ll show you how you can get there.
And one day, you’ll realize that the moment you heard “It’s time to leave” and “Another path is waiting,” it was precisely the voice that guides you to where you wish to go.
We just need to follow along.
Often, we trust the mind more than the heart.
That’s where the dilemma can start.
If you put your mind over your heart, you’ll soon have a problem.
In other words, if you trust your mind more than your heart, you may head in a direction you don’t want to go.
The mind is not inherently bad, but it does have its limitations.
It only knows what it’s seen and experienced before.
A new path? A new road?
That can be overwhelming for the mind.
The mind may tell you things like “not possible,” doesn’t exist,” and “hallucinations,” not because the mind is bad, but because the mind simply doesn’t know.
It’s more based on logic and facts than truth.
It reminds me a little of two people observing a thunderstorm. One is a pilot who flies regularly, and the other one is a farmer who has never flown. The third person is a little kid.
The farmer says to the kid, “Look up in the sky; the sky is so dark, God must be angry.”
The pilot smiles and says, “Look up in the sky; the clouds are the densest, but as you rise, the bluer the sky becomes. The higher you rise, the more sun there is. Not a single cloud can be seen. The sky seems unlimited.”
The farmer and the boy exchange puzzled glances with the pilot.. “No no no,” the farmer says, “you don’t understand.”
He continued, “My grandma was a believer; she said God gets angry. God can be vengeful.”
“How do you know?” The pilot asks.
My grandma told me,” the farmer replies. “You have to obey.”
“Obey what?” the pilot asks.
You have to obey the rules so God isn’t so angry up there leading a war beyond the dark clouds.
The pilot now laughs. “There is definitely not a person leading a war. It’s pure sunshine up there beyond the dark clouds.”
What does this little story imply?
Sometimes you only know what you've experienced.
You might tell yourself stories in your mind that aren’t true.
Sometimes you may feel limited, but you can’t see that beyond your limitations is a limitless sky. Limitless potential. Limitless sunshine.
The pilot may not always know what to expect, but he trusts the radar.
The radar is like our intuition.
We have to trust the path, the journey.
I hope with this little story I can encourage you to reflect a little deeper.
That maybe, only maybe, there’s more waiting for you.
Much more.
There is potential within you that you didn’t even know you had.
There are projects and ideas within you that you didn’t even know you were capable of leading.
I’ve been there myself.
And I noticed the only way to find out is to walk the path and figure it out along the way.
If you need some tips on how to get started,
Like a pilot who takes off,
I’m pleased to share some tools that helped me a lot.
I’m pleased to raise awareness of some of the things to pay attention to, like the one-way streets and roadblocks.
This is what my Masterclass is for.
A useful summary of the tools you need to explore your talents, dreams, and gifts.
