5 myths about starting a conscious business
You don't need a strategy to get started
You don‘t need a strategy. Some people think they need a strategy first. But what you truly need is a dream. A passion. A field of interest to start with.
Act upon it. I, for example, drew images. It calmed my mind. Later I had new insights. I started to paint intuitively. Ironically, that hobby made me practise written channeling. I didn‘t know back then. I started drawing and writing intuitively. I ended up writing stories. I published stories.
Then the stories were so random. One day, I had the random idea from within to have an information platform. Ironically ,all the stories fitted into that platform. What did it teach me? I started with zero strategy. I started with a hobby, a personal joy to draw. It turned into a business. The strategy was revealed to me through each step I took. So you have to act. The first step takes you to the next step etc.
Inner peace is the most underrated tool to get started in your business. Why it can feel boring though
We often focus on strategy when starting a business. But inner peace may be one of the most overlooked foundations for sustainable success.
The interesting part is: inner peace doesn’t always feel exciting at first.
A personal reflection. For a long time, I thought I wanted more peace.
Less mental chatter. Less emotional heaviness. Less inner tension. Less stress.
And eventually, after years of inner work, awareness, reflection, and change…
something shifted. My mind became quieter. Not perfectly quiet. But peaceful in a way I hadn’t experienced for years. And then something unexpected happened. It felt… boring. I remember walking one evening thinking:
“Something is missing.” Then I caught myself. Hang on. Isn’t this what I had been searching for all along?
That moment made me realize something deeper: My nervous system had become so familiar with stress, emotional intensity, stimulation, and constant mental movement that peace itself felt unfamiliar. Chaos had become normal.
The constant “doing.” The emotional highs and lows. The pressure. The stimulation.
We often call this excitement.
But underneath it can also be fear, insecurity, tension, and survival patterns that the nervous system has learned to associate with being alive.
And when those patterns begin to dissolve, peace can initially feel empty.
Not because peace is empty,
but because we are no longer feeding the intensity we became attached to.
That’s when I understood:
Inner peace is not passive. It’s not a lack of life.
It’s the foundation that allows you to create a life more consciously.
There are still challenges.
But the reaction is different.
Less fear.
Less chaos.
More presence.
And from that presence comes something unexpected:
clarity,
insight,
grounded creativity,
and a deeper sense of direction.
I’ve realized that many of us say we want peace,
yet unconsciously resist it when it arrives,
because our systems are more comfortable with stimulation than stillness.
But eventually,
peace stops feeling boring.
It starts feeling like freedom.
That’s when I realized:
a business doesn’t truly begin with strategy.
It begins with you.
And once there’s greater inner peace,
there’s often greater clarity,
deeper inspiration,
and a more grounded foundation
from which to build.
