Conscious living
Explore how to live
more consciously -
a slower,
more intentional
lifestyle
Many people feel that the way we've been living is beginning to change. There is a growing openness to new perspectives and a deeper desire for harmony, community and a closer connection with nature. More people are questioning old ways of living and exploring what it means to live with greater intention and responsibility.
Here you'll find inspiration for living more consciously—whether through travel, fashion, food or everyday life.
The 3 main pillars to conscious living
Over the years, I've come to understand there are 3 main pillars to conscious living
1. Yourself
Your connection to yourself stands at the forefront. Being conscious about your world.
2. Community
Becoming aware how your actions shape your community including other people
3. Nature
Becoming aware of nature and living in alignment with the bigger part of the world.
Conscious living is about creating a life that is
more aligned with ourselves.
To me, conscious living is about creating a life that is more aligned with ourselves, with others and with the natural world. It's not about being perfect, but about making choices that reflect our values and contribute to our wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around us.
As humanity, we have almost forgotten what it means to live in alignment
Social media has changed our sense of real community. Our inner connection with nature can sometimes feel distant. We have become increasingly focused on ourselves and our own goals, sometimes forgetting how connected we are to the world around us. Now, we are beginning to remember that conscious living also means living in alignment with other beings.
The path to inner alignment
If conscious living means remembering how deeply connected we are to nature, to other beings, and to one another, then the next question is: how do we actually live from that awareness? It starts within ourselves.
Even today, there is still a lot of exploitation of human and natural resources. When we truly wish to live in alignment with who we are, conscious co-creation becomes the foundation of our business, relationships, and health.
When we are attuned to our inner world while embracing other human beings and natural world, we move towards true inner alignment. It is about embodying the nature of unity consciousness.
Conscious choices shape the way we travel.
Travel where your heart leads you.
I stopped travelling where it was 'trendy'. I went where my heart pulled me.
Inner alignment involves conscious choices.
The Influence of Influencer Culture
How much of what you desire is actually yours—and how much have you learned to desire? When does inspiration stop being inspiration and start disconnecting us from ourselves?
How do we remain connected to ourselves when we're constantly exposed to other people's choices, desires and lifestyles?
Influencer Culture doesn't just shape
Individual Dreams.
It can also shape cultures positively as well as negatively.
Being conscious means choosing your own path, irrespective of outside influences.
The next luxury won't simply be owning more.
It will be owning our time, our health, our attention and perhaps even our own food.
Conscious living doesn't mean rejecting modern life or giving up material things. It means becoming more aware of the relationship between our choices and the world around us.
15-minute self-reflection
Grab a coffee. Put your phone away. There are no right or wrong answers. Reflect.
“What does living consciously mean to me?”
“Am I consciously choosing the life I am living, or simply living the life I have become accustomed to?”
