The benefit of finding your own way in order to have success
Why I find it hard to follow someone else’s strategy
I tried out a lot of things when I started out and without a doubt, those were great strategies and formulas, they worked for those people, but most often, I realised they did not really work for me. The strategy that made another one successful, did not make me successful.
I felt frustrated, doubting myself, thinking I was too stupid for this. After a couple of failures, I took a course on following your intuition and when I learned to gradually follow my intuition, I learned this: There is no strategy or formula that works for everyone. We all have different life experiences, thinking patterns, subconscious patterns and emotions to name a few. While it may be very helpful to get inspiration from another about what they do and how they do it, we ultimately have to feel deep within if it is something that would work for us too.
We have all the answers within. We have the answers within what strategies work exclusively for us. We just do not know it, nor not believe we have those answers or do not know how to access it.
The best example I find is with diets. So many people struggle with this or fall back to the so called yo-yo effect. Because weight has also to do with what we believe about ourselves and the world. And what we believe about ourselves, is our job to work on, another one cannot solve that for us. They can only show us tools that worked for them. If it resonates with you, you may try those techniques out for you. Because for example, it can happen that a lot of times we eat emotionally. So there is most likely emotions to be released first. Or limiting beliefs. If I hold that believe that food makes me fat, I can participate in the best diet formula, the universe responses to our subconscious mind, not our desires and what we learn merely with our conscious mind.
It’s only when there is that determination “yea now I change and take action it”. And follow what feels good to me. Because life should always feel easy and fun. It’s a misconception that life is meant to be hard. There can be challenges for us to grow from, but there is nothing that is presented to us that we cannot solve at this stage.
Here is my tip:
So I encourage people to trust your feelings. If you think of something or want to try out a strategy, how does it make you feel? That’s an indicator of which direction to go. It may take practise because we are not used to listening to our feelings and if we do, there often comes the mind telling us why it’s not possible, not the right time, that we cannot make money with this or whatever reason.
So ultimately, it’s the trust back in ourselves, our worth, our capabilities that can make us achieve any goal or dream we like.
That was what finally worked for me.
